The function seems to be a turning point to Trisha as far as her equation with Tamil language is concerned. She attended a filmy function a few months ago in which Vijaya T. Rajendar also participated. Trisha was asked to speak on the occasion and the heroine gave a small speech in English, as usual.
Later, TR in his speech appealed that those who have Tamil as their mother tongue should try to speak in Tamil in public functions.
The young actress seems to have taken the advice in a positive sense and started practicing talking in Tamil. She might not have rendered a full length speech so far in any function but the practice has come in handy when director Radha Mohan asked her to dub for her role in ‘Abhiyum Naanum’.
The leading actress is now well placed to take up the challenge. Her practice in speaking in Tamil has been quite useful. It is almost certain that she would dub for her role in the movie.
It is also said that this development could put her in the fray for national award, as she has got an excellent role in ‘Abhiyum Naanum’ to showcase her acting skills.
